I’ve always loved adventure, good books, and helping people feel their best. Born and raised in Calgary, my journey to becoming an RMT wasn’t exactly a straight path—but every twist and turn shaped how I approach my work today.
I spent over a decade in a physically demanding construction job before transitioning to a desk job that kept me sitting for long hours. While I learned a lot, I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. After a year of soul-searching (and probably too many cups of coffee), I decided to change gears completely and go back to school to become a massage therapist. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. Now, I get to work with my hands, help people feel better every day, and create real, lasting results—and I love every second of it.
Why I Get It
I know what it’s like to deal with pain. Low back pain from a physically demanding job? Check. Upper back and neck tension from sitting at a desk too long? Yep. Knee pain, sciatica, shin splints, and sprains from weekend adventures? Been there.
I know how overwhelming it can be to figure out where to start when you’re in pain. Should you see a chiropractor? A massage therapist? Google it at 2 a.m. and hope for the best? Sometimes it feels easier to just stay stuck and sore. That’s why I’m here—to help you find solutions that work and remind you that it can get better.
My Approach
With so many factors impacting how we feel in our bodies—whether it’s stress, posture, injuries, or just the demands of daily life—I believe massage should be more than a quick fix. Massage isn’t just about feeling better in the moment—it should help you move better, feel stronger, and stay pain-free for the long haul.
Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential
Sometimes, we need to relearn that looking after ourselves isn’t just okay—it’s necessary. It’s how we keep going. My approach is all about collaboration. I combine research-based massage therapy techniques like hot stone massage and myofascial cupping to reduce pain, improve mobility, and help you feel your best.
I help busy professionals release muscle tension, reset their nervous system, and move more freely—so they can show up as their best selves at work, in movement, and in life. Using a mix of evidence-based techniques and a long-term relief approach, I focus on making lasting change—because feeling good in your body isn’t a luxury—it’s how you should feel every day.
Outside the Clinic
When I’m not helping clients feel better, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, kayaking, camping, and road-tripping with my two dogs, Gus and Oona. Gus is a sweet, gentle Bernedoodle who lives for sunrise walks and splashing along lakeshores. Oona is a spunky Chinese Crested (one of those “ugly” hairless dogs—but don’t tell her that!) who loves long naps, treats, and curling under blankets. I’m also a lifelong learner, an obsessive reader, and slightly addicted to jigsaw puzzles (yes, I have one on every floor of my house—no shame).
My Values
I believe it’s never too late to take control of your wellness. You deserve to feel heard, cared for, and free to do what you love—without pain holding you back. Seeing clients move from pain relief to maintenance is my favorite part of what I do—watching someone get back to hiking, running, or just sitting comfortably at their desk is the best. I welcome all bodies, all backgrounds, and all identities. This is a space where you are supported and valued—without judgment.
